ICY STEEL are still a young and very fresh band, being originally formed in 2005, but they have already made it to the top acts of their mediterranean island Sardinia’s vital metal scene. Just as a few comrades from the motherland they have taken the road of epic to heroic sounds, having an approach to scandinavian history for the lyrics. But their mediterranean origins cannot be denied, especially during their very epic moments when they create a floating atmosphere or draw from the enchanting variety of melodies emerging from the progressive rock history of their home country.
