Born out of the ashes of some local bands from the most northern part of Germany in Spring 2001, this band quickly found their own style, which was traditional 80s sounding, very powerful Metal without any compromises. Stylistic elements are ranging from 70s Heavy Rock to Doom to Heavy Metal to Speed and Thrash.
Since their beginning they were going through a couple of line-up changes but still released one regular 7", two split 7"s with other bands, one 7" as bonus for the vinyl issue of the first album and two long players, filled to the max with nothing but pure, hot and spicy Metal the way they think it should be played. Sometimes their mouth seems a bit too big for the current Metal scene but then on the other hand they are honest to the bone and just express their personal view as Metal fans.

Bewitched here decide to make a go at forsaking the goodtime attitude and just blowing power metal of the '90s straight out of the water. There was some serious riffage on the first release, but there was a scattered atmosphere present which detracted from the album overall. Things are fixed here, and Pentagram Prayer just bulldozes through 12 tracks of some of the best stuff since the German attack 10 years ago. Taking solo guitar duties, Vargher displays his songwriting brilliance, creating riff after memorable riff. I totally just eat this stuff up. The rhythm section is there, but the focus here is guitars, which are supported well and never overpowered.

Dargor, Shadowmaster Of The Black Mountain: One of Rhapsody's heavier songs. The best of the three included on this EP, it presents a good structure that includes both melodic choruses and solid riffs, with nice harpsichord, flute, synth, piano, and violin portions.
Rage Of The Winter (Symphonic Version): This brings us back to the climactic choral/orchestral compostitions of Symphony Of Enchanted Lands.
If I were to ignore my bias against the purpose of singles, I'd say this was at least a good representation of Dawn Of Victory.
